Christmas Traditions

Yesterday I picked up some Christmas Cookie Cutters.  I was wondering around Wal-Mart looking for stuff for supper and saw this section full of holiday cooking items.  That’s when it hit me – the memory of making Christmas Sugar Cookies as a kid. 

Every year mom would bake up some sugar cookies cut into all types of shapes and then I got to decorate them – Santa’s, Candy Canes, Stars, Christmas Trees.  It was a blast – and I remembered it like it was yesterday.  So, I picked up some cookie cutters and thought we would give it a try on family night.  Julie’s famous “home economics” skills kicked in and she took care of everything and the kids had a blast.
